We want our members and guests to have fun, but at the same time we must have some guidelines to follow, right? The rules are simple and some are just common sense.
RULES
1. Be Generous - Please treat members with respect and refrain from bigoted or extreme statements that may cause offence. Profanity, name-calling, personal insults, malicious gossip about board members or any outside individuals, will not be tolerated.
2. Sharing Personal Information - DO NOT give out personal information to anyone that you don't know. Doing so will not result in ACCOUNT DELETION, but we strongly suggest that you keep personal information to yourself.
3. Usernames And Profiles - Sexual, promiscuous or offensive user-names and/or profiles will be rejected for membership.
4. Signatures - the use of graphics as part of a signature is permitted. However, sexual, offensive or excessively large graphics will be removed. Established members (Example: 100+ posts) are welcome to turn on their custom signatures that include a link to another board.
5. Adult Topics - The Chatting Place is a community forum. Anything that is unsuitable for children’s eyes should be posted in the ADULT THREAD ONLY. Even though this thread will be viewed by Adults, Porn is not allowed in this thread either. Plus I signed up with a website that would generate more traffic and hopefully more members to the board and one of their rules is that the website you sign up CANNOT have Porn on it.
6. Spammers & Bots - Spam will be deleted and spammers banned.
7. Posting - When posting on the forum please avoid excessive use of "text message talk". (Examples, type "see", not "c", "you" not "u") Just please spell out your words. I'm not asking to be a perfect speller or anything, it just looks better on the forum to see words spelled out.
8. Thread Topics - Please try to stick to thread topics where possible. If you're not sure where to post a new topic, please feel free to drop the Administrator a PM or email and we will get back with you to let you know where the best place to post would be.
9. Welcoming New Members - Finally, a friendly request … we would very much appreciate if members might be kind enough to welcome new members in the Welcome forum. We were all newbies once and can appreciate how much this means to us. Welcoming newbies is entirely up to you, of course. No pressure! Most of all, thank you for your cooperation and all your support.
• Administrators may update these rules at any time. _________________ Thanks, Chatting Place Administrator.
